SECURITY CLEARANCE: Applicant must have or be eligible for a Department of Defense (DoD) personnel security clearance. RESPONSIBILITIES: Analyze, test, maintain, and monitor computer programs and systems, including coordinating their installation. Assess the usefulness of pre-developed application packages and adapt them for user environments. Coordinate and link computer systems within the organization to enhance compatibility and information sharing. Develop, document, and revise system design procedures, test procedures, and quality standards. Administer Navy Computer Network Defense (CND) systems, including HBSS and ACAS. Perform scans with CND tools and generate non-compliance reports. Support the submission of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) with reports and documentation. Validate technical standards and security policies for LAN topologies and components; identify and remediate vulnerabilities. Desired experience includes: CISCO Router / Switch configuration and troubleshooting Microsoft Domain Administration Virtual server administration Private Cloud Infrastructure EXPERIENCE: Minimum of three (3) years in Submarine Shore Communications Computerized Systems, including design, development, testing, network protocols, LAN administration, UNIX, and Windows OS. Experience with Navy CND systems, HBSS, and ACAS is required. EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED. Qualified as Cyber Security Workforce IAT 2. Must hold or obtain CompTIA Security+ certification. Within 18 months, complete certifications such as PSEM/CSEP or vendor-specific certifications like MCSD, MCAD, MCDBA, SCP, RHCP, OCP, or CCNP with approval.
