1 week ago Be among the first 25 applicants Description Youth For Tomorrow is a 501(c)(3) faith-based, non-profit organization founded in 1986 by Hall of Fame Football Coach Joe Gibbs. The organization is large, diverse, experienced, and committed to serving at-risk youth. Position Summary Youth For Tomorrow seeks passionate, dedicated individuals to provide residential services to adolescents at our main campus in Bristow, Virginia. Both full-time and part-time positions are available. Full-time roles require weekend availability; part-time roles offer flexibility to work every weekend or every other weekend based on your preference. Available Shifts:

Saturdays & Sundays, 6:30 am-6:30 pm or 6:30 pm-6:30 am, plus two weekdays with 10:30 pm-6:30 am shifts, with shift differential pay. Roles and Responsibilities Oversee physical care of YFT residents. Develop acceptable habits and attitudes in residents. Manage resident behavior. Assist in meeting goals of service plans. Guide and supervise residents. Maintain awareness of resident locations and report as needed. Ensure shift coverage and proper handovers. Confirm resident status every 15 minutes (or 30 minutes overnight). Maintain structure and regulations 24/7. Accurately document required forms and logs. Perform waive testing as needed. Attend mandated training and pursue ongoing education. Support compliance with state standards (DBHDS and DSS). Other duties as assigned. Required Trainings:

First Aid/CPR, Handle With Care, Emergency Preparedness, Shaken Baby, Mandatory Reporting, and 25 hours of related training. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Age 21 or above. Understanding of YFT mission and values. Ability to provide appropriate care and develop respectful relationships. Support resident-family and community involvement. Culturally competent service delivery. Temperament suitable for working with children and youth, including those with special needs. Ability to handle waive testing and work effectively with team members. Ongoing training and supervision capacity. Maintain a safe, secure, and structured environment. Ability to pass medication management protocols. Valid driver’s license per YFT insurance guidelines. Core Competencies Maintain a stable environment. Guide children across age ranges. Resolve conflicts and tolerate stress. Recognize and respond to adolescent behaviors. Make sound decisions. Knowledge of standards for residential facilities. Additional Notes:
