Insight Hospital and Medical Center - Chicago is seeking qualified pharmacy technicians to assist with inpatient services. As inpatient pharmacy technicians, candidates will be responsible for all activities that a pharmacy technician is expected to perform and other duties and responsibilities as directed by the Director of Pharmacy.
Qualifications : High School Diploma or equivalent. Valid Pharmacy Technician license within the State of Illinois. Registered pharmacy technician in good standing under the laws of the State of Illinois.
Responsibilities Include :
Assistance with morning cart-fill process. Utilization of Accu-Dose system (Omnicell). Pull all refill report sheets off of printer. Answering phone calls in main pharmacy. Open batch cabinet fills and process medications. Deliver IVPB batch to floors along with any medications. Unit inspection to your assigned station. Health, vision & dental benefits - eligible at 30 days, following the 1st of the following month. Short and long-term disability and basic life insurance - after 30 days of employment.
