Job Opportunity: Manager, Grant and Contract Administration at TGen
TGen is seeking a Manager, Grant and Contract Administration to oversee our pre- and post-award grant processes, including training grants and large program project applications. The role involves extensive collaboration with faculty, Business Development, Finance, and legal teams to administer and negotiate industry contracts. Key Responsibilities: Develop policies and plans for grant, contract, and research management, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and agency guidelines. Manage post-award financial aspects, including communication with sponsors regarding budgets and reporting. Review, process, and negotiate consortium/contractual agreements; coordinate with Finance for agreements execution. Oversee labor distribution, effort commitments, and monitor project milestones. Handle special projects and research grants such as training grants, K awards, R25, P01s, P50s, U01s, STTRs, and SBIRs, acting as liaison with program administrators and PIs. Assist researchers in grant proposal preparation, including budgeting, documentation, and compliance with sponsor requirements. Manage the entry and tracking of grants and contracts within the Cayuse Research Administration system. Provide grant management support for awarded projects, including progress reports and closeout documentation. Generate reports on sponsored research activities for leadership. Supervise two Grant & Contract Administrator staff members.
