Responsibilities The CT Technologist is a Registered Radiologic Technologist who, under the direction of the Radiologist or supervising technologist, performs CT procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Must strictly adhere to the State of California Radiation Safety Regulations as they apply to worker and patient safety.

Qualifications Minimum Requirements: CA Radiology Tech. (R) (F) ARRT R.T.(R)(CT)(ARRT) BLS (AHA required) Venipuncture preferred 1 year acute hospital imaging procedures required Licensed CT (Computed Tomography) required as follows: Hires after 05/15/2011 but before 07/15/2014 require license within 1 year of hire. Hires on or after 07/15/2014 require CT License upon hire. *Travelers not required to have Fluoroscopy or Venipuncture. Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to facilitate interaction with medical and technical personnel. Demonstrated competency required within 30 days of hire. Must have the ability to read, write, and speak English. Preferred: 1-2 years CT experience preferred. Please note that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire. This ongoing competency must be maintained through internal resources; outside RQI providers are not acceptable for compliance.
