Sr. Principal Space Systems Engineer
with military and/or industrial experience in National Security Space to join our SETA team in Colorado Springs, Colorado. We provide programmatic and technical advisory services to the United States Space Force's Space Systems Command, specifically in Space Domain Awareness & Combat Power (SDACP) and Battle Management Command, Control, & Communications (BMC3). Location:
Colorado Springs, Colorado (on-site) Duties & Responsibilities
Provide Systems Engineering expertise across the entire lifecycle from concept development to operations, supporting space-based and ground-based systems, including Command & Control services. Offer technical oversight of development efforts, including design, manufacturing, integration, testing, and sustainment, using traditional or agile methodologies. Develop operational concepts, requirements, and architectural designs; evolve system architectures; analyze requirements flow down; propose verification methodologies and mitigation strategies. Conduct model-based systems engineering, modeling, simulation, and analysis as needed. Maintain Configuration Management of the program's technical baseline. Manage risk management processes, identify program risks, and recommend or implement risk mitigation measures. General Requirements
Active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI clearance for Special Programs. Bachelor's Degree in a related field with 15 years of experience or Master's Degree with 12 years of experience in Systems Engineering. Experience supporting aerospace, electronic warfare, satellite engineering, space control, space operations, orbital warfare, RPO, or weapon systems engineering. Experience supporting military or government environments. Compensation
Salary range: $160,000 - $200,000, depending on position, experience, and education. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k, paid time off, federal holidays, and sick leave.
