Responsibilities
Respond to complex inquiries regarding contract obligations and revisions. Identify risks and issues, suggest alternatives that lead to the best solution. Review and manage contractual obligations of the parties, ensuring continual review to meet all terms and conditions. Prepare and disseminate information regarding proposals, contract status, compliance, and modifications. Manage contracts day-to-day by advising on strategic direction, contract interpretation, and consequences of action or inaction. Proactively resolve issues and disputes, minimize potential for litigation, and foster protection of reputation. Act as a liaison between the client, project team, business unit, and Legal, ensuring all legal and contractual matters are addressed. Implement Contract Management processes. Inform the project team of contract requirements and monitor compliance. Develop and integrate contract management tools, templates, methods, and processes for engagement. Achieve a reasonable level of understanding of major business areas (System Integration and/or Outsourcing) to communicate effectively with project Executives. Provide training to Contract Management or program personnel if necessary.
Essential Skills
Contracts administration Knowledge of DFAR/FAR Federal Contracts 7 to 10+ years of Federal Contracts with a DOD or DOE TS/SCI DOD or Intel cradle-to-grave contracts experience Top Secret clearance
Additional Skills & Qualifications
7 years of Contract Management experience including negotiations 4 years of experience in a government contracting environment Experience managing in a fast-paced workload environment
Work Environment
The position offers a hybrid work environment, requiring in-person attendance twice a week at a SCIF.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $57.69 - $76.44/hr.
