Senior Accountant
to play a key role in technical accounting, reporting, and process improvement. This is a high-visibility position for someone with strong NetSuite skills and a solid foundation in GAAP. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who brings sharp attention to detail, strong accounting acumen, and a proactive approach to leadership and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements in accordance with GAAP Research and interpret complex accounting issues, providing guidance across the team Generate and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to support strategic decision-making Identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement across the business Support budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes Drive process improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and internal controls Serve as the NetSuite expert, ensuring proper configuration and data integrity Provide training and support to team members on NetSuite functionality Support internal and external audits, including preparation of schedules and documentation
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA strongly preferred 25 years of progressive accounting experience with a focus on technical accounting and reporting Strong knowledge of GAAP and understanding of core accounting principles (must be able to explain concepts like debits and credits clearly) Hands-on experience with NetSuite or similar ERP system is required Advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Driven, accountable, and eager to grow into a leadership role
Compensation:
$80,000 - $85,000
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications .
