Job Responsibilities
Coordinate daily commission payments and record transactions accurately in the proprietary software system. Analyze and reconcile carrier spreadsheets with payments, converting them into a compatible electronic format for import. Confirm and calculate commissions with precision, ensuring they align with predefined scales. Maintain and update commission schedules in the proprietary system to support accurate reporting. Monitor and audit commission payments to ensure compliance and prevent discrepancies.
Requirements
Have at least 2+ years of experience in commissions processing, financial analysis, or a related role. Demonstrate strong mathematical and organizational skills to manage complex commission data. Exhibit strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in commission calculations and reporting. Show proficiency in Windows-based computer systems, including Excel and Outlook, for data entry and analysis. Possess the ability to type 35–40 words per minute (alpha-numeric) for efficient processing of commission-related tasks.
Qualifications
Maintain experience in the insurance industry (preferred) to better understand commission structures. Apply problem-solving skills to resolve commission discrepancies and streamline processes. Communicate professionally with senior leadership for reviewing carrier contracts and broker compensation. Organize and maintain accurate records of commission data, ensuring compliance and financial integrity. Adapt to a fast-paced work environment while managing multiple commission-related responsibilities efficiently.
