Application Development Build Engineer/Release Coordinator
Full-time Global Channel Management is a technology company specializing in recruiting and staff augmentation. Our account managers and recruiters have over a decade of experience across various verticals. GCM understands the challenges companies face in acquiring the skills and experience needed to fulfill daily operational functions. Organizations aim to reduce training and labor costs while securing the best talent for the job. Required: 5 years of experience in a Release Engineering role. Responsibilities include: Source Code Management (Branching and Merging) Experience with source control tools (e.g., GIT, SVN) Administration of web servers and services Shell scripting (Perl, Ruby, UNIX) SQL database experience Build automation and tooling Configuring and administering Apache/Tomcat Setting up Continuous Integration Handling file submissions with data encryption Implementing Continuous Delivery processes Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Waterfall and Agile SDLC, especially in release engineering and DevOps Experience managing fast-paced, overlapping product release cycles Strong customer service and communication skills (both written and verbal) Experience working with cross-functional, multi-location teams Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Adaptability in dynamic environments Knowledge of Software Configuration Management principles and best practices Experience with ATG e-Commerce platform and related tools is a plus Education:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
