Faculty BE/BC OB/GYN physician
to join their team. About the Position: This is an employed faculty position with UT Health East Texas. The current team consists of 10 Physicians and 4 APPs. 20-25 patients per day. Monday-Friday 8:30am to 5pm. Call is 1:4. 50% Inpatient, 50% Outpatient. EMR: Epic. Recruitment Package may include: Base salary + wRVU production incentive. CME allowance. Commencement bonus. Medical debt assistance + Consultative services by Navigate Student Loans. Relocation allowance. Residency stipend. Paid malpractice coverage. Health benefits + Retirement plan. Marketing + practice growth assistance. About UT Health East Texas: UT Health East Texas comprises 9 hospitals, over 90 clinics, the Olympic Plaza Tower, 13 regional rehabilitation facilities, two emergency centers, regional home health services covering 41 counties, an EMS fleet of over 50 ambulances and four helicopters, and a comprehensive trauma care network, including the region’s only Level 1 trauma facility. In 2024, six Urgent Care clinics were added to our network. Our team includes nearly 400 providers and over 7,000 staff members. As a partner with the University of Texas System, UT Health East Texas offers access to cutting-edge research and clinical therapies while training future healthcare professionals through programs in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Occupational Medicine, Psychiatry, and medical student education in partnership with The University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler. About UT Tyler School of Medicine: The University of Texas at Tyler School of Medicine is the first medical school in East Texas and the seventh in the UT System. Its mission is to train healthcare professionals to serve rural and underserved communities in East Texas. The school offers 20 residency and fellowship programs, including family medicine, internal medicine, neurology, psychiatry, surgery, and anesthesia. Its Master of Biotechnology program emphasizes medical research and biotech innovation, preparing students for careers in research, diagnostics, and therapeutics. Construction is underway on a new 248,000 sq ft Medical Education Building in Tyler’s Midtown District, scheduled for completion in fall 2025. This facility will support interdisciplinary medical education and expand the UT Health East Texas training programs. UT Tyler School of Medicine combines research, hands-on learning, and regional healthcare partnerships to prepare physicians to improve healthcare outcomes in East Texas.
