Job Description
NO C2C Procom Services is seeking a Java Application Developer for a contract role in Plano, TX, on behalf of our client. The role involves working with monitoring solutions such as HP BSM, HP UCMDB, ServiceNow, CA Spectrum, SCOM, Nagios, focusing on implementing, configuring, and managing these applications. The ideal candidate will have experience in application development using APIs (Java, REST, SOAP) and scripting to enhance monitoring capabilities. Responsibilities include: Developing client-side code to enhance monitoring features, both backend and frontend. Creating user-friendly web interfaces. Maintaining and enhancing key subsystems within monitoring applications, including requirements gathering, prototyping, design analysis, coding, testing, and deployment. Mandatory Skills for Java Application Developer: Deep expertise in Perl & PowerShell. Fluency with Linux administration. Familiarity with Internet protocols such as SMTP, HTTP, HTTPS, LDAP, FTP, SSL, NFS, XML, and CSS. Experience developing client code using Java API and REST API. Strong troubleshooting skills. Engineering degree with at least 5-6 years of software development and configuration experience, including team leadership or deployment experience. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive activities with minimal supervision. Contract details:
