Sales Consultant – Aftermarket Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Travel:

Full-Time | Direct Hire | Field-Based with Office Support About the Opportunity An industry-leading HVAC manufacturer’s rep is seeking a high-performing Sales Consultant to take ownership of the Aftermarket IAQ vertical in the Greater Cincinnati region. This is your chance to step into a fully established but under-leveraged territory, own your strategy, and drive growth across markets including healthcare, industrial, life sciences, food processing, and commercial real estate. You’ll be backed by decades of client trust, a premium product portfolio, and total control over your territory. We’re looking for someone who brings a hunter mentality, thrives on problem-solving, and wants to build a business within a business. Key Responsibilities Sell a full suite of IAQ solutions including filtration, airflow optimization, UV-C, and energy recovery products Call on facilities managers, contractors, engineers, and owners to build relationships and close business Create and manage a sales pipeline across multiple verticals with long-term opportunity Craft tailored solutions that solve real client problems—not just off-the-shelf recommendations Collaborate with internal teams and vendor partners to provide technical support and project pricing Own the sales process from discovery through delivery—proposals, presentations, and follow-up Track activity and results using CRM tools, and report KPIs regularly to leadership Stay ahead of product developments, regulations, and HVAC/IAQ trends to position yourself as a subject matter expert Qualifications 2+ years of technical, HVAC, or B2B sales experience (IAQ, MEP, or filtration preferred) Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with blue-collar and white-collar professionals alike A self-starter who thrives with autonomy, builds structure, and doesn’t need micromanagement Experience working with mechanical contractors, engineers, or facility decision-makers a plus Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required Must pass background check and have a valid driver’s license (territory vehicle or mileage provided) Why This Role Stands Out True Ownership
