Summary:
We are seeking a Marketing Manager supporting Cosm Studios to join our rapidly growing Marketing team. Cosm Studios is Cosm's in-house film production and distribution arm, responsible for entertainment and original content. We are seeking a strategic thinker to work alongside the Studios team and to manage marketing efforts for Cosm Studios' slate of programming. This role will be instrumental in developing go-to-market strategies, approaches to audience engagement, and messaging plans for each Cosm Studios IP adaptations and Originals. A passion for cinema, music, arts and culture is a must as well as a keen understanding of consumer behavior and emerging entertainment trends. Experience in immersive, experiential entertainment and LBE is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Drive marketing, positioning, and promotional campaign development for Cosm Studios and its slate of original programming across cinema, music, art, culture, and entertainment
- Create and execute launch and sustainment strategies planning surrounding each production, in partnership with the Venue Marketing team and with a focus on driving ticket sales, brand awareness, acquisition, and demonstrating the power of Shared Reality experiences
- Work with Studios, Venues, and the Creative Services team to align on messaging that ladders up to Cosm's corporate brand guidelines and tone of voice
- Project manage Cosm Studios Immersive trailers in partnership with Creative Services and the Cosm Studios team
- Work with the Cosm Studios creator community to help articulate their stories and create thought leadership content around the creation process
- Participate in the conference / film festival circuit responsible for developing relationships, facilitating, engaging in brand visibility and organizing events as needed
- Report performance measurement through market research, trend analysis, and consumer insight gathering around consumer behavior within priority entertainment verticals, in partnership with the Cosm Strategy team
- Partner with the Strategy team to identify the top categories and property examples for creative expansion, in line with market opportunities and Cosm's fanbase
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 5+ years' working ina brand or agency side role with relevant entertainment category
- Understanding of building and optimizing marketing campaigns
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to package and present ideas
- Entrepreneurial spirit with a performance-driven mindset
- Strong understanding of film, music, culture, and arts marketing channels
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Project Management software
The annualized base salary range for this position in California is $90,000 to $120,000. The base salary offered will factor in internal equity and may also vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and relevant experience, among other factors.
