The anticipated pay range for this position is $48 - $60 per hour.

Our client is looking for a Business Analyst to join their expanding operations team. In this role, you will collaborate with various business partners to support the requirements, design and development of digital underwriting products and self-service solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather and develop detailed requirements that support digital platform development and implementation.
- Support the project management team in analyzing and reviewing product documentation.
- Design, execute and maintain detailed test plans and test cases based business requirements.
- Conduct user acceptance testing, identify and report system defects, and ensure all systems meetbusiness needs.
- Translate identified defects into actionable items, collaborating with subject matter experts, developers andproduct managers to resolve issues.
- Provide status updates and reports on user acceptance testing (UAT)progress, issues and outcomes.
- Perform gap analysis of current and future states to ensure requirements result in optimized solutions.
- Maintain a deep understanding of Specialty Program Group's strategic internal and external-facing systems.
- Work closely with UAT participants to define testing objectives and expected outcomes.
- Build strong relationships with IT, operationsand other departments acrossthe organization.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of operations experience in property and casualty insurance, either at a carrier or MGA
- Insurance industry experience, particularly in rating, policy administration, claims processingor underwriting
- Proven success in scoping insurance product or IT system implementations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skillswith a keen attention todetail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and data analysis tools
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to report onsite threedays per week in New Jersey
