with water/wastewater experience to join our team. Position Summary
We are seeking a
Project Engineer
with experience in
water and wastewater
infrastructure projects to join our team. The ideal candidate has a solid foundation in design and project coordination, holds an
EIT
certification, and is either actively pursuing or recently earned their
Professional Engineer (PE) license . Key Responsibilities
Support and lead water/wastewater engineering projects from planning and design through construction Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, design plans, and specifications Assist in project management tasks, including budgeting, scheduling, and client coordination Conduct field investigations and site visits as needed Ensure projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and mentor junior staff Review and respond to RFIs, submittals, and contractor inquiries during construction Qualifications
Bachelors degree in civil or environmental engineering EIT certification required PE license preferred, or actively pursuing PE licensure 36 years of relevant experience in water and wastewater design and construction Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or other relevant design software Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team Preferred Experience
