You will work on projects that span technologies, systems, and processes where you will design, build, test, and ship great code every day. Build a great customer experience for internal and external Stripe teams using our infrastructure Participate in road map planning and prioritization Deliver value through a collaborative approach with multiple customers and stakeholders across Stripe Debug production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack Who you are

We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement. Minimum Requirements

Strong software engineering skills and a passion for one of the areas above Ability to write high quality code (Go, Java, C/C++, etc.) 2-12+ years of professional hands-on software development experience with well-factored algorithms Hands-on experience contributing to or building large-scale distributed systems Strong collaboration skills across workstreams and teams Customer obsession and ability to articulate customer experience to drive outcomes Autonomy, responsibility, and entrepreneurial spirit Preferred Qualifications

Experience optimizing end-to-end performance of distributed systems Focus on the needs of internal and external users High standards for production work Work model

Hybrid work at Stripe: this role can be in-office or remote (35+ miles / 56+ km from a Stripe office). In-office expectations: spend at least 50% of time in the local office or with users. Remote: defined as 35 miles (56 km) or more from an office; you may work from home but Stripe does not cover relocation costs. Pay and benefits

The base salary range for this role in the US is $170,400 - $255,700 per year. Details may vary by location and interview outcome. Additional benefits may include equity, bonus or commissions, 401(k), health benefits, and wellness stipends.
