Base pay range
$65,000.00/yr - $75,000.00/yr Direct message the job poster from CAROLINA PRG Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join their finance team. This role is ideal for professionals who are looking to deepen their expertise in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. The Staff Accountant will play a key role in supporting day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and accounting standards. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and account reconciliations Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow activities Support accounts payable and receivable functions as needed Help prepare internal financial reports and assist with audits Ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and improve processes Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience (distribution or manufacturing industry experience a plus) Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel Strong understanding of GAAP principles Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills Effective communication skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively Seniority level
