Summary Description: The FP&A Manager plays a pivotal role in steering the company's financial strategy by overseeing financial planning, forecasting, and analysis. This position is responsible for providing actionable insights and financial leadership to drive business performance and strategic decision-making. The FP&A Manager will work closely with senior management to refine financial strategies, improve operational efficiencies, and support in achieving long-term business goals. Responsibilities: Financial Planning and Analysis: Support the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, integrating financial data to produce accurate projections. Develop financial models to support strategic initiatives, including long-term business planning. Analyze financial performance against plans, forecasts, and benchmarks to identify trends and variances. Reporting: Prepare and present comprehensive reports on financial performance to senior management. Preparation of periodic board reports and statements. Strategic Decision Support: Provide financial insights to influence key decisions regarding capital investments, cost management, and profitability enhancements. Collaborate with department heads to assess financial implications of business decisions and strategic initiatives. Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to financial processes and systems to enhance accuracy and efficiency. Drive the adoption of best practices in financial analysis and reporting across the organization. Lead newly formed audit and compliance process aimed to identify and collect unreported revenue. Qualifications and Characteristics: Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting, financial planning and analysis or similar role. Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and business intelligence tools like Tableau or Power BI. Strong understanding of financial planning software. Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical, quantitative, and critical thinking skills with the ability to translate complex data into strategic insights. Experience with variance analysis, trend analysis, and scenario planning. Communication: Superb communication and presentation skills, capable of explaining sophisticated financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders. Leadership: Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a focus on team development and cross-functional collaboration. Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail. Personal Characteristics: Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
