About the Firm: JCW is partnered with a growing real estate investment firm with a strong portfolio of assets across various property types, including residential, commercial, and REIT structures. Their team values collaboration, precision, and deep industry knowledge, and were seeking a Tax Senior to join our high-performing finance department. Position Overview: The Tax Senior will play a key role in managing the firms partnership tax compliance, assisting with tax planning initiatives, and supporting the preparation of REIT-related filings. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in real estate tax who is looking to grow within a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and review federal and state partnership tax returns and supporting workpapers Assist with REIT compliance testing and structuring Support quarterly and year-end tax provision processes Collaborate with external tax advisors and internal accounting teams Conduct tax research and provide guidance on tax implications for transactions and business developments Qualifications: 3-5 years of tax experience, primarily focused on partnerships within the real estate or REIT sector CPA or progress toward certification strongly preferred Strong knowledge of Subchapter K and real estate tax concepts Excellent analytical and communication skills Experience with GoSystem, OneSource, or similar tax software a plus For more information regarding this position or other tax opportunities, please reach out to fiona.miles@jcwgroup.com.
