Hours anddays can vary based upon Owner/GC 401(k) matching Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Vision insurance Paid time off Overview: The Staff Accountant – Cash Management & Reporting is responsible for overseeing critical aspects of cash accounting, including management of daily cash transactions, forecasting, ACH payments, credit card transactions, and financial reporting. This role ensures the accuracy and efficiency of cash flow processes while supporting general accounting functions. Core Responsibilities: Manage daily cash flow, including positioning, reconciliations, and reporting. Process and oversee ACH payments, ensuring timely and accurate transactions. Monitor and process credit card transactions in compliance with company policies. Oversee cash receipts, including tracking incoming funds and reconciling payments. Alert management of suspicious transactions and pending liquidity issues. Prepare and maintain cash flow forecasts to optimize financial planning. Support month-end and year-end close processes related to cash transactions. Perform general accounting duties, including journal entries and account reconciliations. Assist with financial audits by providing relevant cash-related documentation. Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards. Collaborate with internal teams to enhance cash handling efficiency. Qualifications & Skills: Strong knowledge of cash flow management, forecasting, and reconciliation. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Viewpoint, Sage). Ability to manage ACH payments, credit card processing, and cash receipts. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with GAAP and financial reporting standards. Effective communication and collaboration skills.
