Position Description: Up to 25% travel | Federal Consulting | Active Interim Secret or higher required

Overview We're seeking a Platform Application Developer to help drive one of the most innovative tech transformations in the U.S. federal space. You'll design and deploy secure, scalable applications on modern enterprise platforms like ServiceNow, Microsoft Power Platform, Salesforce, or Palantir Foundry-supporting mission-critical systems for a major DoD client.

This is a hands-on developer role working directly with product owners, engineers, and Palantir teams, building foundational apps and integrations that will be used across the DoD for years to come.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and deploy applications using platform-based and low-code technologies Translate user stories and requirements into functional, production-ready applications Integrate with external systems via REST APIs, connectors, and custom integrations Support the full application lifecycle-including testing, debugging, and optimization Implement and document configuration management, access control, and change tracking Collaborate in Agile teams and contribute to a culture of innovation and quality delivery Create and maintain technical documentation aligned with DoD security and compliance standards

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field At least 7 years of experience developing complex applications on enterprise platforms such as:

ServiceNow Microsoft Power Platform Salesforce Palantir Foundry

One or more platform certifications (e.g., Microsoft, ServiceNow, Salesforce, Palantir) Proficiency in scripting or low-code tools (e.g., Python, Power Automate, ServiceNow scripting, etc.) Understanding of platform governance, security, and data integration patterns Familiarity with Agile delivery, version control (e.g., Git), and CI/CD practices Must have an active Interim Secret clearance (or higher) and be U.S. Citizen Ability to work on-site 2-3 days/week in Alexandria, VA

Preferred Qualifications

Active Secret clearance or higher Experience supporting the Department of Navy (DON) or other Defense agencies Knowledge of DoD cybersecurity standards, such as RMF, STIGs, or NIST 800-53 Hands-on experience with DevSecOps, cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS), or hybrid environments Multiple certifications in modern platforms (e.g., Power Platform Developer, ServiceNow App Dev, Salesforce Platform Dev I) Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar Agile tools
