Overview

Join Verizon as a full-time Retail Sales Associate. What you’ll be doing...

Generate retail sales by using your passion for technology and strong customer service to expand the Verizon network.

Learn and uncover customers\' needs by creating connections and asking the right questions.

Position product insights and solution recommendations to provide customers with a complete top-down sales solution.

Close sales by using effective communication to fulfill customer needs with simple and intuitive tech solutions.

Continuously develop yourself through ongoing training and up-skill in merchandising and inventory operations.

Grow your customer base by placing outbound calls and sending texts to current Verizon customers who are interested in our products and services.

Engage with the community outside of the store to expand your loyal customer base, including at Verizon-sponsored events.

Compensation includes base pay from $16.00 to $21.00 per hour, plus up to $16,000 yearly in individual-based commissions if sales goals are met. Top performers may earn additional commissions, with total annual earnings potentially ranging from $65,000+ to $73,500+. Compensation varies by geography, hours worked, and performance.

Eligible for a $2,500 sign-on bonus (subject to terms and conditions).

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • One or more years of relevant experience, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (schedule provided four weeks in advance)
  • Openness to pick up additional shifts and earn more income, typically during summer months, November through December, and peak vacation periods

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Experience working in a commission-based environment
  • Demonstrated sales experience communicating with customers to find solutions
  • Customer service experience
