Geode Capital Management is seeking a dedicated individual to join the Data Operations Team as a
Data Analyst . The Data Analyst will play a lead role in ensuring our key data assets are complete, accurate, and fit for use by the firm on a daily basis. They will ultimately be responsible for the quality of data utilized by Geode's consumers. As issues arise, the individual will coordinate triaging responses, communicate impacts to appropriate parties, and validate that any required actions were executed correctly. By partnering closely with teams across the firm, the Analyst is expected to drive improvement in the quality of our data and processes. In this role, the Analyst is expected to be a subject matter expert on all investment data sets required by Portfolio Management, Trading, Research and other internal stakeholders.
This is a hybrid work environment opportunity located in Boston, Massachusetts with a weekly in office schedule of Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and remote work availability on Mondays and Fridays.

Serve as a strategic data steward for multiple critical data assets, including Security Reference, Index, and Market data Oversee and enhance validation processes to ensure the completeness, accuracy, and quality of data supporting the investment process Lead investigations into data anomalies, perform root cause analysis, and drive long-term resolutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams Manage and prioritize issue triage, escalating critical data concerns to appropriate internal and external stakeholders with a focus on timely resolution and risk mitigation Build strong partnerships across business units and technology teams to ensure data issues are clearly communicated and effectively resolved Design and implement advanced metrics, validations, and dashboards to proactively monitor and improve data quality and operational efficiency Drive continuous improvement of data pipelines by identifying bottlenecks, recommending enhancements, and collaborating with engineering teams on implementation Champion process optimization and automation, identifying opportunities to streamline workflows and reduce manual intervention Take end-to-end ownership of data quality and integrity in firm-wide initiatives and strategic projects, ensuring data considerations are embedded from inception Optimize Geode's data environment by thinking strategically about data consumption and usage patterns Skills You Bring:
6+ years of related experience working in Investment Data or Operations BS/MS (Economics, Finance, Computer Science or related major) Strong technical background and the ability to work independently Strong SQL experience (minimum 3 years) Experience working with various asset classes including equities, fixed-income, and derivatives Security Reference, Index, or any other Master Data Management (MDM) Experience Strong working knowledge of Excel, Databases, Snowflake, Python High attention to detail and supreme quality, while balancing both practicality and value-creation Experience with Jira or similar Agile management tools
