Job Description
Robert Half Management Resources is looking for a skilled Financial Business Analyst to join one of our clients on an interim basis. In this role, you will focus on resolving system integration issues, improving workflows, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a critical project in the chemicals manufacturing industry while leveraging your expertise in financial systems.
Responsibilities:
• Analyze and troubleshoot system integration issues between financial systems and transportation management platforms.
• Reconcile unmatched transactions across multiple general ledger accounts and shipment types.
• Develop and document workflows to enhance system efficiency and accuracy.
• Extract, analyze, and present data to create actionable reports and insights.
• Align freight invoices with shipment records to ensure accurate financial postings.
• Provide ad hoc accounting support and financial analysis as needed.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement sustainable solutions.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and industry-specific accounting practices.
• Support logistics and transportation financial workflows to optimize operations.
• Proven experience in business systems analysis, particularly in financial and transportation management systems.• Strong knowledge of SAP and SAP Transportation Management.
• Expertise in balance sheet reconciliation and general ledger processes.
• Familiarity with logistics and distribution workflows in manufacturing environments.
• Ability to create and document efficient workflows and process maps.
• Solid understanding of GAAP accounting principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
