Job Summary
Wursta is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to join our dynamic Project Management Office (PMO). The Business Analyst will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technology solutions, ensuring that project outcomes align with business needs and objectives, particularly within the Google Cloud ecosystem. This role involves eliciting, analyzing, validating, and documenting business requirements for various projects, often involving Google Workspace, GCP deployments or optimizations, and AI implementation. The candidate will identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement, recommending how Google Workspace or GCP can optimize processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, problem-solving ability, business process mapping and optimization experience, ability to conduct user experience studies, and broad experience in a project-based, tech-forward environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Requirements Elicitation & Analysis: Collaborate with project sponsors, stakeholders, and end-users to elicit, understand, and document business requirements, processes, and workflows, with a focus on solutions leveraging Google technologies.
- Conduct interviews, workshops, surveys, and other methods to gather information.
- Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, and distinguish user requests from underlying true needs.
- Documentation: Create and maintain clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation, including BRDs, functional specifications, use cases, user stories, process flow diagrams, and report mock-ups. Ensure documentation is up-to-date and version controlled.
- Stakeholder Management & Communication: Serve as a liaison among business units, technology teams (including Google Cloud specialists), and support teams. Effectively communicate insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management. Manage stakeholder expectations and facilitate alignment.
- Process Improvement: Analyze existing business processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement, often recommending how Google Workspace or GCP can optimize these processes. Propose solutions to improve business processes and system functionalities.
- Support Project Lifecycle: Support project managers in defining project scope, goals, and deliverables for projects involving Google solutions. Help develop test plans and participate in UAT to ensure solutions meet business requirements. Provide support during implementation and post-implementation phases.
- Data Analysis: Analyze data to support business decisions and project directions, potentially utilizing Google Cloud data tools. Translate data into actionable insights for stakeholders.
