Our client, a leading financial services organization, is seeking an Azure Cloud Lead/Architect to join their team. As an Azure Cloud Lead/Architect, you will be part of the Infrastructure Department supporting cloud strategy and implementation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Azure Cloud Architect
Location: Remote but local to DFW area
Terms: 3 month Contract (Potential to extend or convert fulltime)
Pay: 70 - 80/Hr W2
What's the Job?
Design and architect scalable, secure, and reliable Azure cloud solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams
Develop comprehensive documentation, establish processes, and define SLAs/KPIs for cloud services
Lead the implementation of Azure cloud solutions, providing technical guidance and ensuring adherence to best practices
Collaborate with security teams to implement security controls and compliance frameworks within Azure environments
Mentor junior team members and promote best practices in cloud architecture and governance
What's Needed? 8-10 years of experience in architecting and implementing Azure cloud solutions
Deep knowledge of Azure services such as Virtual Machines, App Services, Functions, Storage, and Networking
Experience with hybrid cloud environments and integrating on-premises systems with Azure
Strong understanding of cloud security, governance, and compliance frameworks
Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, ARM templates, and automation frameworks
