We are looking for a strong, passionate, and energetic Paid Search specialist to drive growth and strategic oversight across the paid search department with a focus on our largest accounts. This role emphasizes search-driven performance marketing and collaboration across digital acquisition channels. The candidate should be a people-focused leader who enjoys hands-on, cross-functional work in a fast-growing, innovative agency focused on client performance and ROI. Responsibilities Serve as Paid Search Lead on one or more of the larger search accounts, delivering strategy and hands-on optimizations with other Paid Search and channel team members Manage multiple accounts and present Paid Search strategy, performance, and priorities to client stakeholders Partner with cross-channel leads to create a holistic media plan, including forecasting, testing, tactical plans, and reporting Define roles and responsibilities for client Paid Search teams and delegate work to supporting team members Own pacing across your book of business and ensure campaigns spend toward the target Drive Paid Search strategy, innovation, and testing while improving performance and developing quarterly/annual roadmaps Manage or mentor others from Account Managers to Senior Managers; oversee team performance, feedback, and development Engage in in-person team meetings, events, and client presentations as needed (approximately 12 times per quarter) Collaborate with Google, Bing, and other vendors on alpha/beta opportunities, expansion plans, and best practices Contribute to department training, POVs, award submissions, and case studies Participate in new business pitches and audits across the Google ecosystem
Client & Revenue Oversight
Generate and oversee strong revenue growth from client renewals Participate in onboardings, renewal calls, and other important client communications for top Google advertising accounts Develop a detailed understanding of clients products, industry, goals, and objectives Analyze performance data and KPIs
About You
5+ years of Paid Search experience Experience directly managing both B2B and B2C Google advertising efforts Passion for crunching numbers, analyzing data, and navigating spreadsheets Passion and willingness to embrace Automation and AI You are comfortable with script adoption, using AI to help with reporting, insights, and visuals for presentations You are open to testing different workflows utilizing AI to optimize output, stay organized, and create efficiencies Strong and persuasive communication when discussing paid search performance with clients and your team Driven and innovative; able to work in the weeds while also guiding the larger direction of the team and industry Experience managing Paid Search budgets of at least $500k+ in monthly ad spend Experience with YouTube, App Campaigns, Performance Max, and Demand Gen in addition to traditional paid search and shopping Advanced slide presentation creation Intermediate to advanced Excel/Google Sheets knowledge Experience presenting paid search strategy to marketing executives, large teams, and senior audiences Experience with bid management platforms (e.g., SA360, Skai, Marin) is preferred 4-year college degree or equivalent work experience
