This includes coordination with the United States Postal Service (US Government Client), commercial carriers, and internal staff to ensure accurate and timely handling of correspondence and packages. 9 Skill set info The contractor shall:
1. Receive, log, and sort incoming mail and packages from US Government Client and other carriers
2. Distribute mail to appropriate departments, staff, or mail stops within the office
3. Prepare outgoing mail, including weighing, packaging, labeling, and metering
4. Maintain logs for certified, registered, express, or priority mail
5. Ensure proper handling of time-sensitive and confidential material
6. Manage internal mail deliveries between adjacent offices
7. Maintain mailroom supplies (e.g., envelopes, shipping materials, postage) and request replenishments as needed8. Notify recipients of oversized or signature-required deliveries
9. Assist in implementing mailing procedures and security protocols
10.
