We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated
Wireless Network Engineer
to join a strategic project with one of our key clients in the US. As the
wireless subject matter expert (SME) , you will lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of both wireless and wired network infrastructures across
Supply Chain environments (warehouses and distribution centers)
as well as
corporate enterprise networks . Key Responsibilities Lead
wireless design, implementation, and troubleshooting
across warehouses, distribution centers, and corporate sites. Ensure reliable
wireless RF coverage
in environments with metal racking and in carpeted office spaces. Work with
Wi-Fi 6, Wi-Fi 6E, and Wi-Fi 7
technologies. Support
LAN, WLAN, routing and switching
(BGP, OSPF). Contribute to
SD-WAN deployments and optimizations . Develop and apply
network automation scripts
(Python or equivalent). Conduct
predictive wireless design and site surveys
using tools such as
Ekahau . Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, high-performing network solutions. Document designs, processes, and troubleshooting guides to ensure operational excellence. Requirements Proven experience as a
Wireless Network Engineer
in enterprise or supply chain environments. Strong knowledge of
wireless RF design, Wi-Fi technologies, routing, switching, and SD-WAN . Hands-on expertise with
predictive wireless design and site surveys
(Ekahau experience preferred). Proficiency in
network automation scripting
(Python or similar). Solid understanding of
TCP/IP, LAN/WLAN protocols, VLANs, and subnets . Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to handle complex networking challenges. Preferred Certifications (not required): CWNP (Certified Wireless Network Professional) CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) ECSE (Ekahau Certified Solutions Engineer) CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert) Preferred candidates are based near Austin, TX or Atlanta, GA for proximity to labs and distribution centers, but strong applicants from across the U.S. will be considered.
