Gifts Officer
Full-Time, Exempt, Category 2 (12-month position)
Salary Range: $80,000-$110,000 (plus incentive compensation plan)
Reports to: Acting Head of Advancement
The Gifts Officer assists the school in achieving its fundraising goals by increasing constituent participation and total giving each year. The position manages a portfolio of assigned donors, guiding them through the Donor Cycle to secure major gifts annually. The Gifts Officer will have a budget target to meet, including pledges for future years.

Manage donor data and create customized stewardship plans.
Be a self-starter, working effectively with minimal supervision.
Be an exceptional team collaborator.
Desired but not required: five to ten years of relevant fundraising experience, preferably in independent school fundraising.
Job Responsibilities
Assist with cultivating and maintaining donors, with individual success targets for each.
Achieve collection of budgeted donations and pledges.
Utilize Raiser’s Edge to develop individualized stewardship plans.
Implement cultivation strategies for new incoming parents.
Organize donor and fundraising events to encourage participation.
Prepare monthly reports on relationship management activities and donations, including performance metrics.
Project future donations quarterly, aligned with the Development calendar.
Maintain a donor portfolio and schedule regular meetings.
Attend campus events as assigned to represent the Advancement Department.
Enter all donor communications into Raiser’s Edge within 24 hours.
Assist the Director of Alumni and Family Relations with alumni solicitations.
Support donors with appropriate requests.
Assist the Admissions office with stewardship of new families during the admissions process.
Recruit new families to Oaks Christian School.
Coordinate with local companies and businesses to support OCS.
