Senior Cybersecurity Analyst
Mantech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team in Doral, FL. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: monitoring and securing information systems, identifying potential risks or breaches, and developing strategies to prevent security incidents; identifying information system and network vulnerabilities by conducting regular audits; installing and using software, such as firewalls and data encryption programs, to protect sensitive information; developing and implementing effective security policies and protocols; responding to security incidents and providing detailed incident reports; conducting penetration testing to simulate attacks, identify weak points, and work with the IT team to establish disaster recovery plans; staying up-to-date on the latest intelligence, including hacker methodologies, to anticipate security breaches; educating the workforce on information security through training and awareness programs; recommending security enhancements to management or senior IT staff; and providing direction and mentorship to subordinate staff. Minimum Qualifications: BA/BS in field necessary to assume Cybersecurity Analyst duties and a minimum of 9 years years of relevant Cybersecurity Analyst experience. High School and 4 years of additional experience or Associate's Degree and 2 years of additional experience may be exchanged in lieu of a required Bachelor's degree. A candidate holding a relevant Master's degree may be granted 2 years' experience credit for that extra education. A candidate holding a relevant PhD degree may be granted 4 years' experience credit for that extra education. 5+ years of position-specific relevant experience. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field. Strong understanding of firewall administration, incident detection, firewall architecture, and intrusion detection systems. Knowledge of risk assessment tools, technologies, and methods. Experience designing secure networks, systems, and application architectures. Knowledge of disaster recovery, computer forensic tools, technologies, and methods. Experience planning, researching, and developing security policies, standards, and procedures. DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level III certification, CompTIA Security+, 8570 CSSP certification. Desired Qualifications: Master's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field. Experience supporting DoD programs and cloud-based technologies. Professional certification (e.g., CISSP, CISA, CISM, CEH, etc.), ITIL Foundation certificate. GIAC (e.g., GCIH, GCIA, GMON), AWS Certified Security - Specialty, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Security Engineer, or Azure Security Engineer Associate. Experience at a DoD Combatant Command (e.g., SOUTHCOM, NORTHCOM, CENTCOM, CYBERCOM, INDOPACOM, EUCOM, AFRICOM, STRATCOM, TRANSCOM, SOCOM, SPACECOM) or a component is desired. Clearance Requirements: Must be eligible for or have a current/active Secret Eligible clearance. Physical Requirements: The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
