A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Business Data Analyst.
Position type: Full-time, Contract Duration: 12 months with possible extension Location: De Pere, Wisconsin 54115
Position Overview: We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Business Data Analyst to join our client's team in the retail energy domain, with a specific focus on natural gas operations. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in data-driven environments and possess strong technical and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and actionable insights within the natural gas segment. Develop and execute SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and validate data from relational databases. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business decisions through data-driven recommendations. Review contracts and other documentation with a high level of attention to detail. Present findings and reports in a clear, concise, and professional manner to both internal stakeholders and external clients. Independently manage tasks and priorities while receiving strategic guidance from the manager.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Analytics, Business, Computer Science) or a combination of 5+ years of education and professional experience. Prior experience in the retail energy industry, especially in natural gas, is highly desirable. Strong proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective verbal and written communication abilities. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS: Pay Range*:
$30.00 - $33.00 per hour * Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
