Overview

Pioneering Evolution is seeking a QA Engineer to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of a Marine Corps software platform's modernized .NET Core applications. The QA Engineer will develop and execute automated and manual test cases to validate software functionality, identify defects, and improve system robustness. This position requires a Secret Clearance and is based in the Washington D.C. metro area, with on-site requirements as needed. Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for web and API-based applications. Implement automated testing frameworks for unit, integration, and regression testing. Develop performance and security testing strategies, ensuring compliance with DoD security standards. Conduct security testing, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing for web and API applications. Ensure API testing coverage using Postman, SoapUI, or RestAssured. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline. Collaborate with developers and DevSecOps engineers to resolve defects and improve test coverage. Maintain test documentation and contribute to continuous testing improvements. Required Experience

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing. Experience with automated testing tools, such as Selenium, JUnit, NUnit, or Cypress. Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines. Experience conducting regression testing to validate software updates. Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required. Desired Experience

Certified Software Tester (CSTE) or ISTQB Certification. Experience with security testing tools, such as OWASP ZAP or Burp Suite. Familiarity with performance testing using JMeter or LoadRunner. Who We Are and What We Offer
