As the Michigan Department of Transportation’s (MDOT) global data specialist, you will be responsible for the following when data is shared externally to MDOT:
Managing MDOT’s master and reference data repository.
Serving as a key link in supporting information governance-related policies and goals as an information steward on the Information Stewards Board to:
Fulfill information governance objectives
Adhere to department data standards and policies
Ensure data integrity and good data management
Provide business analytics and business intelligence services such as research, analysis and dashboard/scorecard creation related to MDOT’s master and reference data.

Paid Holidays:Eligible employees receive 13 or 14 paid holidays each year including New Year’s Eve and Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Presidents’ Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, the Fourth of July, Labor Day, Election Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving, Thanksgiving Friday, Christmas Eve and Day.
