A K-12 school located in Geneva, IL is seeking a dedicated social worker for a contract position during the 2025-2026 school year. This opportunity is for a .5 FTE role based at one of the elementary schools, with a strong emphasis on in-person presence. Remote candidates will not be considered.

Responsibilities: Provide direct social work services to students, addressing emotional, social, and behavioral needs Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to create supportive environments for student success Conduct assessments and develop individual intervention plans Facilitate group counseling sessions and crisis intervention when necessary Link families with community resources to support student well-being Maintain accurate records and comply with school policies and legal requirements Qualifications: Degree in Social Work (Bachelors or Masters) Relevant licensure or certification for social work in a school setting Experience working with K-12 students, preferably in an elementary school environment Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team Commitment to providing services on-site for direct engagement with students and staff Location:Geneva, Illinois position based within an elementary school Benefits: Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student lives in a supportive educational setting Professional collaboration with school personnel and community partners Scheduled contract role during the school year Interested candidates who meet the qualifications and can commit to on-site work are encouraged to apply.
