A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is sought to provide specialized services within a K-12 school setting in North Port, FL. This contract role spans the school year (NSY) and involves working closely with pediatric and school-aged populations to support their communication needs.

Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess speech and language disorders Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Provide targeted therapy sessions addressing specific speech and language objectives Track and document patient progress meticulously Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate effective care Involve and educate families to support therapy goals and outcomes Qualifications: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution Active state licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology in Florida Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is preferred Experience with pediatric and/or school-aged clients is highly desirable Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team This position requires a current license approved by the State Board of Speech Language Pathology. Candidates must hold or be working toward a Masters degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology.
