A specialized opportunity is available for an Orientation and Mobility Specialist (OMS) or Orthopedic Impairment (OI) Specialist to provide part-time support in an elementary school setting. This contract position is based in Loomis, CA, and is focused on delivering specialized services to students from Pre-Kindergarten through 5th grade. The assignment runs for the current school year (CSY).

Key Qualifications: Certification as an Orientation and Mobility Specialist (OMS) or Orthopedic Impairment (OI) Specialist. Experience working with young students, preferably between PreK and 5th grade. Ability to manage a very part-time schedule effectively (approximately 2 hours per week). Familiarity with individualized education programs (IEPs) and student assessment is highly beneficial. Location: Loomis, California Elementary School Responsibilities: Provide specialized instruction and consultation to two students with orthopedic impairments or mobility needs. Develop and implement tailored intervention strategies to support student participation and success in school activities. Collaborate with classroom teachers, therapists, and families to ensure cohesive support aligned with each students educational goals.
