A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2025/2026 school year within a K-12 educational setting located in Hartford, CT. This contract role offers a 37.5-hour workweek, primarily focused on providing services at the high school level.

Responsibilities include: Delivering speech and language therapy to approximately 35 students, with a caseload that includes 19 students diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) as well as individuals with multiple disabilities Implementing individualized and group therapy sessions tailored to students communication needs Collaborating with paraprofessionals assigned for support to enhance therapy outcomes Utilizing teletherapy techniques as applicable to extend range and accessibility of services Maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with school policies and professional standards Qualifications: Speech-Language Pathology Certification of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) required Experience providing teletherapy services appreciated Background in school-based speech-language pathology preferred, especially working with high school students Familiarity with supporting students with ASD and multiple disabilities Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary educational environment Benefits include consistent, full-time hours within a school year schedule, providing an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on a diverse student populations communication development.
