We're seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to join our remote education team serving students with psychological and educational needs across Michigan's virtual learning initiatives. This full-time remote position includes 36.5 hours weekly serving approximately 46 students across all grade levels from early elementary through high school transition programs. You'll provide psychological services through secure online platforms while fostering supportive therapeutic relationships essential to student mental health and academic success. Clinical Service Responsibilities
Administer comprehensive psychological batteries using virtual assessment protocols and standardized instruments Deliver individual and group counseling services through HIPAA-compliant teletherapy platforms Implement evidence-based crisis intervention protocols and develop comprehensive safety planning procedures Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive student support services Develop social-emotional learning curricula and deliver preventive mental health programming Facilitate virtual family counseling sessions and provide parent education and training programs Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure regulatory compliance with state and federal requirements Clinical Population Focus
Your caseload will include students requiring psychological evaluations for special education eligibility, crisis mental health interventions, trauma-informed therapeutic support, and ongoing counseling for anxiety, depression, and complex behavioral challenges. You'll serve learners from elementary through transition-age programs with diverse cultural, linguistic, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Required Credentials
Master's degree in School Psychology from NASP-approved graduate program Active Michigan School Psychologist license with good standing status Two years minimum experience providing comprehensive psychological services in educational environments Proven ability to conduct virtual psychological assessments and deliver effective teletherapy interventions Experience with crisis intervention protocols, suicide risk assessment, and safety planning procedures Strong knowledge of special education law, psychoeducational evaluation processes, and IEP development Excellent clinical skills, ethical judgment, and professional communication capabilities Virtual Clinical Environment
This position requires specialized expertise in online psychological assessment, digital therapy platforms, and virtual crisis intervention procedures.
