Position Overview: Part-time schedule, approximately 2530 hours per week Caseload includes students in grades 5 through 12 Contract duration from September 2, 2024, through June 30, 2025 Role requires on-site presence, with virtual work considered only as a last resort Key Responsibilities: Conduct independent evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs Implement therapeutic interventions focusing on fine motor and gross motor skills enhancement Collaborate with school staff to support student progress and integrate occupational therapy goals into the educational setting Monitor and document student progress consistently and adjust treatments accordingly Qualifications and Desired Experience: Masters degree or higher in Occupational Therapy Valid Delaware Occupational Therapy license or eligibility to obtain licensure Demonstrated experience in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy preferred Ability to independently complete evaluations (COTA candidates not accepted) This role offers a meaningful way to use occupational therapy expertise to positively impact student success while accommodating a balanced schedule.
