Seeking a dedicated Social Worker to support the well-being and development of students in an elementary school setting, serving grades K-5. This contract position covers a leave of absence and offers the opportunity to work within a diverse learning environment that includes multiple special education classrooms.

Location: Lombard, IL Key Responsibilities: Provide individual and group counseling to students to address social, emotional, and behavioral needs. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement intervention plans. Support students in special education classrooms by addressing unique challenges and fostering an inclusive environment. Assist with crisis intervention and offer resources to families for additional support. Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies and confidentiality standards. Desired Experience and Qualifications: Degree in Social Work with appropriate licensure or certification relevant to school settings. Experience working with elementary-aged children, preferably in K-5 schools. Strong knowledge of special education requirements and ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Compassionate and patient approach to supporting students and families.
