Overview
Client is seeking an experienced business analyst to join the Application Services team in a hybrid work environment. We are looking for a hands-on, self-starter, critical thinking team player with general technical knowledge and strong interpersonal skills. The role involves process re-engineering, developing business requirements, use cases and test scripts using industry-accepted practices. A high-level understanding of information technology concepts and the SDLC is required. The analyst may work on multiple projects and internal initiatives, including upgrades, maintenance, and enhancements. Under supervision, the candidate will conduct business process analyses and needs assessments to align IT solutions with business initiatives. They will support analytical functions by assisting programmers in identifying user needs and adapting procedures to final program design. The role also includes organizing and facilitating application testing and user acceptance to ensure the business communitys needs are met. Additionally, the person will act as second and third level support for production incidents and coordinate troubleshooting with internal teams and vendors, closing out reported issues for multiple applications. Current county-wide and/or department-specific software may be utilized to complete assignments. Responsibilities
