Responsibilities
Lead the planning, design, implementation, and steady-state operations of enterprise wireless and network systems.
Own the full lifecycle of network infrastructure including configuration, testing, documentation, and knowledge transfer.
Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to establish and maintain network standards, best practices, and governance.
Evaluate and recommend new hardware/software solutions; optimize and troubleshoot vendor utilities and tools.
Deliver highly available, secure, and cost-effective network solutions at an enterprise scale.
Provide expert-level support and mentorship to administrators; participate in 24/7 on-call rotation.
Utilize deep hands-on experience with Cisco and Aruba wireless technologies, including WLAN controllers and management tools.
Apply expertise in wireless protocols, TCP/IP, routing, switching, and network security.
Utilize troubleshooting tools such as Ekahau, RF scanners, and Wireshark.
Familiarity with next-generation mobile networking (LTE, 5G, private wireless).
Experience with Cisco ISE, Catalyst Center, DNA Center, IDS/IPS, and Palo Alto Firewalls.
Lead small technical teams or mentor junior engineers.
Ensure comprehensive documentation and drive process improvements.
Communicate effectively with technical and cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
Required certifications: CWNA, CWSP, CCNA/CCNP Wireless, ITIL Foundation.
