JOB SUMMARY
Client’s Aerospace Group has an exciting opportunity for a Site Project Manager at its Bethel, CT facility. The Bethel plant manufactures pressure sensors for a wide variety of commercial, military, and space applications.
The Site Project Manager is responsible for the successful execution and supply chain deliverables of New Product Development (NPD) projects and repeat business in Eaton Bethel’s Space value stream.
This role acts as the primary interface between plant operations, supply chain, technical support, and the program management office, managing supplier development, purchasing, engineering deliverables, and production planning activities for new program execution. Coordination with plant buyers, planners, design engineering, operations, supplier quality, manufacturing, and FED supply chain teams is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the successful execution of Grey Box projects within contractual, technical, schedule, budget, cost, and quality commitments
- Demonstrate forward-thinking vision to detect potential critical path impacts and keep internal/external stakeholders aligned
- Manage PO reviews with Customer Service and Contracts to ensure requirements are within scope and executable
- Execute IPT leadership by promoting rapid issue resolution and coaching team members
- Drive program objectives and goals, providing direction to teams regarding customer concerns, scope changes, and risk assessment
- Manage and own hardware delivery schedules aligned with PMO and/or customer milestones
- Coordinate with Value Stream Materials, Program Management, and Customer Service to communicate new product development schedules
- Provide inputs to Program Manager to help maintain Focus 5+1 metrics for program financials, quality, technical performance, and delivery
- Interface with Sales to help lead new business proposals in response to RFQs
- Lead or support Continuous Improvement (CI) events to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Support and execute all assigned tasks within PROLaunch and gate review phases
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
- 3–5 years’ experience in a Supply Chain, Operations, or Project Management function
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
- Strong project and time management, organizational, and analytical skills
- Effective communication skills across all organizational levels
- Knowledge of standard manufacturing processes, electronic manufacturing, and/or assembly/test in an aerospace environment preferred
- Innovation with documented invention disclosures leading to potential U.S. patent applications
- Ability to work with teams from manufacturing operations, new product development, and test engineering
- Must meet International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements (U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee)
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficient in developing and tracking internal metrics
- General knowledge of ERP and procurement processes
- Project management experience
- Exposure to institutional problem-solving tools/processes such as Six Sigma, DMAIC, Kaizen, DOE, Pareto Charts, Process mapping, Tree diagrams, Root cause analysis, and analytical software programs
- Experience leading new product development projects, specifically Eaton’s ProLaunch support
Education
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution

3–5 years of experience in a Supply Chain, Operations, or Project Management function
