Overview

As Cavender’s Performance Marketing Manager, you will lead our digital strategy across Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Paid Social, Display, and emerging platforms. You’ll set the vision for digital growth, manage agency and internal partnerships, and ensure every campaign drives measurable results. Reporting to the Senior Digital Marketing Manager, this role serves as a cross-functional leader and digital innovator, helping to shape the future of Cavender’s online presence and customer engagement.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support the “Cavender’s Culture” and drive our Mission, Vision, and Values.
  • Lead cross-channel campaign planning and execution across SEM, Paid Social, Display, and streaming platforms.
  • Direct and oversee agency and internal team execution, ensuring alignment with company goals, creative standards, and customer-first experiences.
  • Implement advanced tracking, attribution modeling, and audience segmentation to optimize campaigns and maximize ROI.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with agency partners and third-party platforms, ensuring accountability and performance.
  • Deliver weekly, monthly, and campaign-level reporting with actionable recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Guide testing strategies (A/B, multivariate), refresh creative assets, and align content themes to strengthen campaign impact.
  • Partner with social media, loyalty, and content marketing teams to integrate campaigns into a cohesive digital ecosystem.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, evolving technologies, and platform updates — bringing new ideas to keep Cavender’s at the forefront of digital marketing.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • 5–7 years of progressive experience in digital or performance marketing, with proven success managing multi-channel campaigns at scale.
  • Strong expertise in SEM, Paid Social, Display, and emerging channels, with hands-on experience in Google Ads, Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, and LinkedIn.
  • Advanced knowledge of analytics tools (Google Analytics, GA4, SEMRush, or similar) with ability to translate insights into actionable strategy.
  • Demonstrated experience managing agency relationships and third-party vendors.
  • Proven track record of delivering measurable growth, ROI, and customer engagement.
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and present to executives.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with a data-driven approach to storytelling.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (Master’s degree a plus).
  • Retail apparel, e-commerce, or branded consumer goods experience strongly preferred.
  • Self-starter with strategic mindset, curiosity, and a customer-first focus.

Preferred skills

  • Agency experience or prior work managing external partners.
  • Experience leading or mentoring junior team members.
  • Familiarity with streaming and connected TV advertising platforms.
  • Advanced Excel and/or data visualization skills (Looker, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Strong project management abilities with experience juggling multiple campaigns.
  • Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
