ASAP
Assignment Length:
13 weeks+ (option to extend)
Schedule:
Full-time, 40 hrs/week
Shift Options:
Flexible 8-hour shifts starting at 6:00 AM, 7:00 AM, or 1:30 PM
Coverage:
Includes weekends, holidays, and occasional on-call
Job Duties: Review and verify physician orders for accuracy and safety
Dispense and compound medications (sterile compounding, IV admixtures, chemotherapy)
Provide clinical pharmacy services including drug therapy monitoring and adjustments
Respond to
Code Blue
and other emergency situations
Educate healthcare staff and patients on safe medication use
Maintain compliance with
DNV accreditation , state, and federal pharmacy laws
Work in both centralized and decentralized inpatient pharmacy settings
Requirements: Active Washington State Pharmacist License
2+ years of recent hospital pharmacy experience
(residency or BCPS preferred)
BLS Certification
Strong clinical skills in inpatient care, dosing, drug interactions, and prescribing protocols
Ability to type 20+ WPM and work comfortably with pharmacy technology systems
Detail-oriented with excellent aseptic technique skills
