School Social Worker
to join our team in
Chicago, Illinois
for the 20252026 academic year. The ideal candidate will be committed to supporting students' emotional, social, and behavioral development by working collaboratively with educators, families, and community partners. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct and indirect social-emotional support services to students
Conduct assessments and develop individualized intervention plans
Participate in multidisciplinary teams for IEP and 504 plan development
Serve as a liaison between school, home, and community-based resources
Promote a positive school climate through prevention and intervention programs
Support crisis response and behavioral intervention strategies
Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and district regulations
Qualifications: Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution
Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social Worker endorsement
Experience working in urban school settings or with diverse student populations preferred
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively with educators, administrators, and families
Compensation & Benefits: Competitive weekly pay : $40 $52 per hour (commensurate with experience)
