About the Position

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our school-based team near Chester, VA! This is an exciting opportunity to work with students from Pre-K through 12th grade, helping them develop essential speech and language skills to succeed academically and socially. Key Responsibilities Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for students with speech and language disorders. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students' needs. Monitor and document student progress, adjusting therapy techniques as necessary. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure student success. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment. Qualifications Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Current Virginia state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred. Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is preferred but not required. Skills and Abilities Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Passion for working with children and helping them succeed. Proficiency in technology for documentation and virtual therapy when necessary.
