Overview The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking a Principal Advisory Consultant to shape and transform how enterprises leverage cloud technology. This strategic role will influence leaders across industries, market segments, and technical domains to drive transformative business outcomes. As a Principal-level advisor, you will identify patterns across customers, develop new architectural patterns, and create innovative capabilities that define the future of cloud adoption. Possessing a deep understanding of AWS products and services, you will drive innovation and influence executive-level stakeholders across multiple organizations, serving as trusted advisors on industry trends, enterprise cloud transformation, and cloud solutions. You will also support sales to align with customer outcomes and value realization.

Drive significantly complex technical initiatives and strategic business transformations across industries and market segments Lead the creation and delivery of novel technical services, capabilities, or industry-level solutions used globally Identify patterns across customers and develop new architectural patterns and design principles that become industry standards Cultivate strategic relationships with senior leaders and serve as a trusted advisor on transformative initiatives Drive strategic sales opportunities from inception to closure at the executive level Create scalable mechanisms and lead new initiatives that transform how customers adopt cloud technologies Provide widely recognized thought leadership through industry presentations and executive engagements Mentor and develop leaders while growing a culture of collaboration, empathy, and inclusion Balance risk and quality while creating mechanisms to address recurring escalation patterns Experience and qualifications

10+ years of experience in cloud architecture, migrations, modernization, and implementation Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field; Master’s degree preferred 10+ years of experience in enterprise cloud transformation initiatives involving C-suite executives with at least 5 enterprise cloud transformation initiatives in industries such as Telco, Financial Services, Manufacturing, Energy, or Retail / CPG 10+ years of experience implementing at least 3 technology solutions in domains delivering minimum 15% cost reduction or $5M+ annual revenue growth (e.g., Cloud Migration Strategy, Enterprise Transformation, Cloud Operating Models & Governance, Data & AI Transformation) Led a minimum of 3 cross-functional teams of 10+ members each, managing complex programs spanning at least 2 distinct organizations Preferred qualifications

Strong understanding of multiple industry verticals and their cloud adoption challenges AWS Professional level certifications (e.g., AWS Certified AI Practitioner, Machine Learning, Solutions Architect) Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences Deep expertise in emerging technologies such as Generative AI, Agentic AI, and their enterprise applications Ability to deliver compelling technical and business presentations to VP and C-level audiences Ability to write effective narratives and present them to leadership across teams About AWS and our culture We are an equal opportunity employer and value diverse experiences. Compensation varies by market and experience, with base pay ranging from $164,500 to $284,300 per year, with additional compensation elements possible as part of a total package. This position will remain posted until filled. Location Los Angeles County area preferred; other locations may be considered depending on role scope.
